You can use this method in a hybrid learning environment for any topic or subject. You make several hybrid groups in different rooms so that they couldn’t disturb each other. In the main session (e.g. in Zoom) you make breakout rooms. Each group has both offline and online participants. It is important to appoint a moderator/coordinator in each team so that they could follow the time limits, and make sure that every learner has a chance to share their opinion (talk or type) and make their contribution. The results of the group work can be put on the virtual slide (Google slides) or board (padlet.com, Google Jamboard, Google document, etc.) and shared with the whole class.

It is preferable to have a technical support person to provide a smooth groupwork.
