During this session the students will learn how to pamper (take care of themselves) at home. They will learn how to do simple makeup, occasional makeup, carnival / Halloween makeup, Foot spa at home, Facial at home and plucking their eyebrows. The session can be divided into different lessons and the students need to each have their own material to use. It is very important they bring things that they are not allergic to and items they already might be using. Any allergies need to be notified

A discussion can be held on asking also the students why they enjoy makeup and what they would like to learn mostly during the session so that the educator can focus on explaining better the areas they would like to learn more.

The flashcards can also be used throughout the session for those who need more assistance in following steps. Following that a video from Youtube will be shown and explained step – by – step to the students which will be shared. The flashcards of How to plug your eyebrows will be explained to the students with a shared screen. For those who would like an email of the flashcards can be sent. The educator will need to explain step by step . For further visual instructions the educator can show a video from YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w_UgV2a54k&feature=youtu.be . If this video is used the educator needs to stop and explain steps and ask questions to students to understand if they have understood what they need to do. An example of a question may be : Where does the arch of your eyebrow need to be ? 

 The students will prepare all the items needed on the table for basic makeup, with help from the educator. The educator will show the students how this is done. The educator can also put the video in the background. Flashcards of how to plug your eyebrows will be given to students who need further assistance. The educator needs to go around each student and see what they are doing. Preferably some time is given to this session to have more of a 1:1 experience and check every student for every step.  

 At the start of the session the educator will do a small quiz with the students. Together they will be doing a small questionnaire followed online from : https://www.buzzfeed.com/evelinamedina/how-well-you-treat-your-skin and she will ask the questions individually to every student both face to face and to those online. This will determine for them to get to know how they take care of their own skin. The educator will follow the session by showing and explaining on shared screen the video of doing a simple facial at home from YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfuMLfVK9fU . The educator will need to stop and explain the video step by step. 

 The students and educator will prepare the items on the table. The students will first watch the educator clean their face and then the educator will dedicate some time to each student to watch them clean their faces for both those in class and those online. The video can be left in the background if assistance is needed. 

The teacher will start by showing the flashcards on shared screen and explaining step by step how to do a simple foot spa at home by using How to apply foot spa at home flashcards. These can be given to students who need more assistance during practice. A short video explaining how this is done will be explained from YouTube to the students

 The students will prepare all the items needed on the table for basic makeup, with help from the educator. The students will first watch the educator do a foot spa and then the educator will dedicate some time to each student to watch them clean their faces for both those in class and those online. The video can be left in the background if assistance is needed. Some time for the students to relax will be given.
