In this entry an educator will be assisted on how to visually teach an individual on 'How to do you own bed'. This entry will be focused on visual learning since it involves a set of step-by-step flashcards and a video to follow. This particular entry is focused for individuals which need to improve their level of independence and for individuals looking to gain new skills.

Hybrid
Young adults (16-30 years)
This tool will assist the educator to teach an important task which will be done on a daily basis. The educator must start with showing the material provided; step-by-step flashcards and a video. Flash cards are to be found in the documents section below and the video using this link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzItyKTmf5o. For individuals that need more assistance in regards to independence, the flash cards can be printed to be as guidance to follow. For the individuals participating online, the flashcards can be screen shared or else sent via email. The following step would be that the educator asks if the participants had understood and if needed, go through the material once again. To reach the aim of this learning toolkit, it is highly recommended that participants attending in class dedicate some time to practice, and online participants practice on their own bed. This will be beneficial for the educator to be able to assess and monitor if the individual had learn to do this task. Once practice is done, the educator can provide feedback, and provide further one-to-one attention if particular individuals need continuous support.
Educators
The educators need to be able to follow the instructions given in the flashcards and video steps. The educator need to be able to assess during practice and provide feedback as needed. The educator need to be able to do this task confidently to be able to provide the assistance to others.
Learners
The learner need to be able to move around and manage doing the bed. Individuals with mobility difficulties or disability can also manage and can find further assistance below in the resources section. Learners who need to improve their level of independence, must be willing and motivated to learn this task with practice.
