Main Session
The students will learn how to write a proper email for a job application. They will also learn how to create an email address using G-Mail if they do not have one. The lesson will proceed to them writing a proper covering letter and a proper Europass CV. The lesson might be divided into two to three sessions depending on the needs of the clients.

 The tutor will be sharing an online YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yAsHhown_g . The tutor needs to do a voice over the video and explain step by step how this is done. The video may be stopped as many times as it needs according to the needs of the students. The video will also be shared so that both online and face to face students can follow. The Flashcards creating a Gmail Account  will be shared and explained step-by-step. The students then will each have a chance to create their own Gmail account and those online will do this with a shared screen.
How to create your own Gmail Email Account :

The tutor will share with both online and in class students and explain the How to write a job application email PowerPoint. The students will then proceed to seeing a short video on YouTube to explain further for an example of a job application: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPAi92P_HLI . The tutor shall stop the video and explain so that the students will understand better and ask questions on the video to see what they have understood.  Practice writing an e-mail: Some time for practice after will be done. The students will be provided with the E-mail Template. Those who are online will receive it and they can download it. The students will then share what they have written. Furthermore, they can also write an example email on their own Gmail account and sent it to the tutor and then the tutor can read out some of them in class as examples. 

The tutor will start the lesson with the Covering Letter PowerPoint which will explain why a covering letter is important and tips on what to include in a proper covering letter. The power point will be shared online for online and face-to-face students to follow.  Practice of writing a covering letter: Practice will be held and the students will write on a Word Document an example of a covering letter to apply for a fictitious job they would like to apply for. Those online will be sending their document by email to the tutor and they will be discussed individually in class. If students need further information on how to write a covering letter the tutor can proceed to explain a YouTube video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHg0b7Nai6c. The video will be shared for both online and face to face students. 

 The tutor will start the lesson with the Europass CV PowerPoint which explains why they need a CV and how to write a europass CV. Further to the power point the tutor will be sharing on screen for both online and face to face students the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pPiVk7lTXo&t=409s  Practice of writing a Europass CV: Before practice the students will be asked questions to check what they understood. These will be shared on screen so that both online and face to face students will follow. The resource for this activity is entitled: How to write a CV – Questions Practice will be held and the students will write on the Europass official site the CV on the following site : Link. Those online will be sharing their screen so that the tutor will follow and guide students who are also online where they need help.
